Some Area Info:  Morgan is the easternmost town in Orleans County with an approximate population of 750 and an area of 33.9 sq. miles.  Morgan was originally named Caldersburgh but was changed later to Morgan in 1801.  This town is a rural community and approximately 8 miles from Derby.  You will find lovely lake front cottages, homes, farms, land, camps at very affordable prices.  A great place to vacation or to call home, Morgan is truly a fine New England town.

Attractions and Recreation:  Morgan’s claim to fame is definitely Lake Seymour, said to be one of the cleanest lakes in the United States. Seymour offers great fishing, sailing, canoeing, and boating, as well as winter activities.  It is the second largest lake within the state at 1769 acres and is contained entirely within the town.
